I appreciate the response. We clearly differ on a few things, but that's all right. I would offer that although God cannot be directly observed, that doesn't mean there is no evidence for Him. There are no direct observations or measurements of dark matter, either, but astronomers are pretty sure it exists. As for the value religion offers, it lies in both the development of the individual through the positive qualities it teaches and in social cohesion and development. But those are all big topics, and I don't wish to drag this out. So I'll leave it at that. Thanks again.
