Hi Kenneth. I suspect I’ve said this in your hearing before, but faith generally is not “belief without evidence.” It is a form of trust. Today can be placed in someone or something without any good reason or evidence, but that is specifically,”blind faith.” Not all faith is blind. Etymologically, to believe is ”to hold dear.” Again, belief can be blind, but it is not necessarily.
In fact, it is not possible to live without either belief or faith. Faith and belief make it possible for us to do things without having complete knowledge of everything. Our incomplete knowledge can often give us well justified beliefs and faith. If you didn’t have faith in your ability to safely drive to work each day, you’d probably never be able to get behind the wheel. And where does that faith come from?
Experience and knowledge. It’s not blind.
